Research Interests

The goal of my research is to make data science easier. I focus on the data exploration and data communication ends of the pipeline, usually through the lens of information visualization. My work makes it easier for developers and non-programmers to create custom visualizations, for analysts to incorporate their knowledge into their big data algorithms, and for data journalists to communicate their findings.
